I hope my readers are enjoying some warmer weather (unless you live in the Southern Hemisphere, then I suppose it’s winter). We have had a very moderate spring here in Nashville, and I’m loving it.
In honor of the eight-year anniversary of Nashville Wife, which we celebrated in the middle of May, I am asking you all to submit questions for Mr. Handsome and me. What would you like to know about us? Let us know in the comments section, and we will answer them in an upcoming post.

Congratulations on the blog anniversary.
My question is who does Little Buddy take after in looks, and Littlest Buddy. Who do they look like the most?

Why do you continue blogging about the Duggar family after everything that’s come out about them? Will you watch Shiny Happy People, and will you read Jill’s book when it comes out. Why do you blog under an assumed name?

I’d like to know how she first became friends with them. What was the association, and was her family also involved in IBLP? (Guessing so, if they were invited into the Duggar house.) As far as current friendship, how does she feel about what has happened in the Duggar household, and how Jim Bob and Michelle are as parents. Does she agree with how the scandals were handled.

How do you serve veggies to your kids?
What would you recommend as a good starting point to having a garden/growing food?
Ellie
Hi Anne!
I start veggies from an early age, with veggie purees at 6 months (no plain fruit purees until age 1, some mixed fruits and veggies but a lot of just plain veggies). Then when they have teeth, I do a lot of cooked veggies (carrots are nice and easy), then I add fresh veggies once they can chew them (often well past age 2). We do veggies at both lunch and dinner. I serve them veggies first, when they are hungriest. Or often I’ll tell Little Buddy, “Would you like to snack on some cucumbers while Mommy finishes dinner?” My goal is to help them love plain, fresh vegetables as much as I do, so it’s not a chore to eat healthy.
Growing a garden, we started years back with 5 gallon buckets with holes drilled in the bottom. Those are great if you don’t have a lot of space. If you have good dirt, you can put a larger garden right in the ground. Tennessee does not have good dirt though, so we built raised beds. As far as good veggies to start with that are easy, tomatoes are easy, and so is lettuce. We buy our tomatoes in plant form and grow our lettuce from seed.
I hope that answered your questions 🙂
