It seems like every man, at one point or another, has the desire to grow some facial hair. Unfortunately for me, Mr. Handsome has decided to express himself by growing a mustache. I have asked him to please have it gone before the new baby is born because I do not want that thing in the baby pictures. I adore his usual 5 o’clock shadow, but the mustache has just been too much. What do you all think of the new look?

Would not want a dentist leaning over me with that much hair on his upper lip. Seems like a dirt and germ trap. Even with a mask on, no.

It looks quite nice, but without it he looks quite nice as well.
My husband now has a beard and a mustache.
It does suit him, but we are in agreement that both beard and mustache are kept well trimmed.

Mustaches, no. Strap a bristle brush to your face. See how he likes kissing it.

I feel your pain. My husband decided to grow his “five o’clock shadow” into a beard :(. Thankfully, with much prodding he shaved it down and it’s just back to the “shadow”. I think Mr. Handsome looks much better before mustache :).

Well, my husband has had a handlebar moustache since I met him over 40 years ago. It gets him a lot of attention which he likes. I’ve always felt it makes him look older than he is…and I think it makes your husband look older too! My husband is almost 70 and the huge moustache is white now and makes him look 80. He has great skin and is trim but the white facial hair ages his entire face. Meanwhile, I color my hair and people say I look 50. It’s frustrating but I’m used to it. Please be certain that Mr. Handsome does not keep it or you’ll have this to look forward to.

I prefer Mr H as Mr H, not Mr Mustache! Lol
It also needs a trimming to be above the lip line.
My husband had a beard and mustache for years but as he hit 50, he realised it was actually quite aging. He has never gone back once it was all shaved off.
I too think it would be nicer for the baby pics without the facial hair experiment.

I like Mr. Handsome’s mustache. My husband grew a mustache 35 years ago and hasn’t shave it off yet.

I like the mustache. It looks handsome and masculine.
Tracey
Actually, I like it.

Definitely looks more manly with a mustache!! And I have always felt that when God created men (and said it was good) to have facial hair (mustache & beard) that they really should wear them….. they really do look handsome wearing them!

Your husband is a very attractive man; the mustache detracts from his good looks. However, I have seen worse!

A little tough to tell because I feel like we haven’t seen a non-mustache comparison pic of him in a while. My first thought is that it sort of suits his face BUT it also seems to age him a bit. He usually skews young but that pic is giving 40s mountain man vibes! I’m not a big fan of standalone mustaches in general (I think the 80s scarred me a bit) but I don’t mind a nice well-kept goatee or beard with one. My husband has a goatee and I’ve adjusted over the 20+ years we’ve been together, but some days it feels pricklier than others! I’d say for the baby’s sake–and him wanting the baby to like his kisses–he should probably shave it for that reason alone. Or get a really good conditioning routine to keep it soft–which most guys aren’t into.

40s mountain man vibes, that is well put!

Haha my husband grew out a mustache for no shave November and I hated it at first but he’s trimmed it now and I actually have grown to not mind it! Our 7 week old baby hates it when daddy kisses him though😅

Is he also going to start talking with a heavy accent now?
