  1. I also use leeks and add red wine….the alcohol cooks out but it make the stew have a richer taste. Oh and fresh parsley and rosemary and a spoonful of red currant jelly. 🙂

  2. Looks like a recipe that I would like to try. Are you a fan of slow cooking? Do you have a favorite recipe? I love my slow cooker, it is so convenient and the meat is so tender.
