For the past couple days, I have been trying to come up with an engaging discussion question to pose to all of you, and I think I have found one. Before I delve in, I’ll add that if you have any suggestions for discussion questions, feel free to send them my way. I really enjoy interacting and conversing with my readers.
So here goes: What is a goal you have or something you are currently working towards? It can be something you hope to happen or accomplish in the next few days or something that will take years, or anything in between.
A goal we have for this year is to move our boys into the same room. Littlest Buddy still cries a few times most nights. His crying sessions are usually short, but I don’t think he would make for a very good roommate for Little Buddy at this point. So our hope and prayer is that he would grow out of this stage so the two of them can be together. Little Buddy is very excited to share a room with his younger brother.

At my age, waking up alive is pretty much the goal for the day. Anything beyond that is bonus. Priorities shift when you get older.

LOL A good day is when I can put my pants on without losing my balance.

I’m glad you have some things to do. I do love Hallmark movies. Have you tried their mysteries? Or their TV series When Calls the Heart?

Ellie! My sisters share a room at a young age their only a year apart. So I think it would be OK to put your boys together know. Littles buddy will stop crying when he’s in a room with his brother

My daughter at 2 would get out of her bed and go to her brothers room (he was 4 1/2), and crawl in bed with him for security.
Ellie
That’s sweet. Did it disrupt their sleep or did they still both sleep well?
Anonymous
They both slept well.🙂

Why do parents always force their children to share a room especially when they only have two children and each one could have their own room??
Ellie
I’ve read that it’s good for their social development to share a room. Every adult I have talked to who shared a room as a kid has fond memories. 🙂

I think you need to talk to more adults. I wouldn’t have stood for a sibling in my room. I needed a sanctuary with peace and quiet to do my homework, and nobody touching my stuff. My friend got so mad at her sister that she put a rope down the center of the room to divide it. Two siblings in a room doesn’t always work out. When one is sick, it really doesn’t work out.

Well, you didn’t talk to me or my sisters because we absolutely HATED sharing a room! lol

I just asked her yesterday you remember putting posters on are wall and listen to music. She said yes and going to the basement to watch TV once are parents went to sleep. Even though we had a TV in are room we didn’t want are parents to hear it.

A smooth transition into the next chapter of life!
I (22 year old) will be graduating college in May, and beginning my life as an ER nurse in a busy level 1 trauma center. I am also a new driver, having recently got my driver’s license.
Between driving, nursing, and the night shift, my life just got a whole lot different!
Above all, I am working on being the best nurse I can be to serve God and my patients.
Ellie
How exciting! Congratulations, Emily! I’m sure you’ll do great. Let us know how it’s going once you start.

Suggestion for discussion question: What is your daily schedule like? Do you have set times that you do things? What about your week, are there set days you do things like grocery shop? There never seems to be enough hours in the day or days in the week for everything that needs to be done!
